COSTA RICA FAQ

Yes! This retreat is for all levels and we welcome beginners. Our daily practices will be quite rigorous and taught at an intermediate level, so we encourage participants to have experience in yoga before the retreat. 

Flights are not included. Your stay, transportation meals and all workshops are covered.




We kindly request all participants to arrive in San José, Costa Rica, on Saturday, April 12th and secure a hotel room for the night, a step we are more than happy to assist with, although it is not included in the retreat price. This ensures that everyone can gather at a designated pickup point on Sunday morning, refreshed and eager to commence our journey together. Given the unpredictability of travel, including potential flight delays and luggage mishaps, arriving a day early will help ensure a smooth transition to the retreat's start.

Please be ready for our collective transportation at 9 am on Sunday, April 13th, which will take us on an immersive 4-hour eco-tour, offering a glimpse into Costa Rica's breathtaking scenery, with stops at remarkable sites and beautiful beaches along the way. If you are unable to join us for the 9 am departure, you will be responsible for arranging your transportation to the center. We are here to assist in organizing this for you if needed. Meals on this travel day are not included until we gather for dinner at the center. Rest assured, we will assist in coordinating hotel arrangements to keep all attendees close to one another, setting the stage for a seamless and exciting start to our retreat.

Please see the arrival preparations for additional costs. On your free day, if you are interested in additional activities, souvenirs, or treatments, they will cost extra. Everything else is included and taken care of.

The retreat and all classes will be in English.


We will send a simple packing list before the retreat

The food served during the retreat is fully vegetarian, refined sugar-free, and made with fresh and nourishing ingredients only. For breakfast, we offer local eggs, butter, and milk. If you have dietary restrictions or intolerances, you can let us know in the application so that we can take care of it.

The airport in San Jose is called “Juan Santamaría International Airport”. It’s about a 3-4 hour drive to the retreat center.

Plan to depart home / fly out of San José (SJO) Costa Rica on Saturday 4/12/25.

The retreat officially ends on April 19th after Brunch, so plan your return flight home accordingly (no earlier than 4PM Costa Rica time). We will provide everyone transportation to the airport from the retreat center at 11am.

Yes, you will need an up-to-date current Passport for this trip. If you have a Passport please check your current expiration date to make sure it will be good for our trip. It must not expire within 6 months of our trip. If you need to renew OR get a passport see the link below and act now as it can take up to 11 weeks to get your passport in the mail.



Group Transportation to/from the airport is included. If you are unable to make the scheduled transportation, we can help arrange your transportation for an additional cost. Please see arrival preparations for more information.


If you’re able to pay the full price upfront, we appreciate it. But we also offer payments for certain rates. For that simply get in contact with us so that we can find a way together that works well for you.


We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your attendance at our retreat. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation 60 Days or More Before the Retreat:
   - If you cancel 60 days or more before the start of the retreat, we can refund 70% of the total retreat cost.

2. Cancellation 59-45 Days Before the Retreat:
   - If you cancel between 59 and 45 days before the start of the retreat, we can refund 50% of the total retreat cost.

3. Cancellation less than 45 Days Before the Retreat:
    - If you cancel less than 45 days before the start of the retreat, we will not be able to issue a refund. 



The refund percentages are based on the total cost of the retreat, excluding any additional services booked (additional activities & massages).
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to hello@healwithjuls.com with the subject line "Soulstice Retreat Cancellation."
The date of the cancellation will be determined by the date the written notice is received.
If you are unable to attend the retreat, you have the option to transfer your payment to a future retreat, ensuring your investment in wellness and transformation remains secure and flexible.
No refunds can be provided for cancellations made after the retreat has started.

We recommend that all participants consider obtaining travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may affect their ability to attend the retreat.

While we understand that unexpected situations can arise, please note that we are unable to provide refunds or discounts for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. Additionally, if circumstances beyond our control affect our ability to deliver the promised services, we appreciate your understanding that we cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this trip up until April 16th, 2024. If the retreat is canceled you will be alerted by this date and will receive a full refund.
In this case, we are not responsible for your preparation expenses, such as airline tickets, extra accommodations, loss of work, or any other cost associated with preparing for your trip. We recommend booking travel insurance, along with refundable flights/accommodations.
